If you need something to do this Sunday between the WSB in the morning and the Moto GP in the evening you could do a lot worse than nip out to Craiglash Quarry just west of Banchory. The Bon Accord club are hosts to the 1st round of this years trials championship. Start time is 10:30am and so far we have 120 entries from all ages and abilities. Spectators are most welcome and why not bring your camera and capture some explosive action. The pits are set in the quarry floor and can be found by turning right just after the Bridge of Canny on the A93. Alternatively head up the A93 and use the car park at Potarch Bridge, cross the road and enter the forest using the obvious road and there will be sections just two minutes up the hill on your left. There are four routes, Red for experts, Blue for Intermediates, Green for Novices and Yellow for beginners. Each bike will have a coloured number plate to allow you and the observer to identify which route they are riding. Trials riding proves beyond doubt that motorcycles can be maximum fun without achieving maximum velocity! If you are interested keep an eye on our website and facebook as we are hoping to arrange some "Try Trials" sessions and hopefully this will be available at the Grampian Motorcycle Convention in September. Oh yes nearly forgot "Motorsport is dangerous and you spectate at your own risk."

Hi Dave, yes, important question! There will indeed be a burger van which will be located on the quarry floor among the bikes and riders. Should be open from midday onwards.
