I am wanting to put braided hoses on my 07 R.6 Which brake fluid should I use to get the best out of my brakes? Anyone had any good/bad fluids I should buy or stay away from? all input appriecated

Anything from Motul, Castrol, Putoline, AP Racing would be good. All top brands.
Would imagine Yamaha would recommend Motul, as they use Motul engine oil.

The only thing that you have to keep an eye out for is if your brakes happen to be incompatible with a specific fluid type.
I.e some stipulate that they should not be used with type X or example.
Any good quality fluid should be fine for an R 6 though.

DOT 4 is the usual standard, don't buy cheap. And make sure that all the old fluid is out of the system before putting new in.

I'm sure I read somewhere that there are only two manufacturers of brake fluid - so it all comes down to packaging.
So, if the above statement is true... any DOT4 brake fluid will do.
