Anyone used John Clark's Aberdeen for bike servicing this year?

Last year I heard very bad comments about the bike servicing , but things should have improved.

Any comments about recent servicing?

I've had the S1000RS serviced there the last couple of times. No issues.

Had my GS done this week - all ok. Not a particularly friendly team of staff but efficient; they seemed to do the job well and at a resonable price. They are a big company with ever changing staff, not like the old days when it was a growing business operating out of Gray Street (before motorcycles).

I am impressed with the friendly service offered by the parts team.

I am impressed with the friendly wad of cash they paid me to post this.

That is an insult to my integrity and honesty.

You may not have the same values about life as I do but please do not judge me by your own standards

It was a joke. It's quite obvious that you weren't paid a wad of cash. So no offence was intended.

Unlike your comment to me. :roll

I have :log
6000 mile service and heated grips fitted to my RnineT.
Nice discrete grips, connects to the original display.

No big complaints with JCs.
It took a bit longer than i hoped, but they did clean the bike...well most of it, some bugs managed to hang on.
It seams to take ages when leaving the bike, and picking it up. I have had quickquicker tyre changes at Sillets, both tyres, than the time it takes to exit Clarks.

And the final bill was less than the quote :2up
Not sure who that happens.

Overall, painless, apart from the hole in my wallet.

Phew , glad i found this here, reading more into forums for my new K1200s and given its low mileage there seem to have been some recalls and mods that have probably been missed or just not bothered doing, so reading that John Clarks seem to be okay for servicing i'm prepared to take the plunge on getting things sorted by them.

I have used John Clarks a few times now.

Not cheep, but you can get decent coffee and cakes .

Luckily my bikes have been still under warranty, as there have been a few expensive bits replaced over the years.
