Bayliss leaves in style.

Well, loved the racing today, and great to see Baylis go out in style.

Best Superbike riders theres been. :2up

Every race done with the right fighting spirit, and always smiled at the end, whether it was a scrap with Edward, Haga, Corser.

Top man.

On the Ducatisti forum, there are very strong rumours of this replica coming out as 2009's Ducati 1098R.
Will be 500 made at 28,000 quid a pop :eek .

Have to agree. Always a fighter and entertainer. One of my better memories of his career was when he re-mounted twice at Silverstone in 2002 to come fifth, despite losing 70 seconds as a result of the falls and dropping to the back of the field on both occasions. A true champion.

sad to see the great racer retire but he's been entertaining, next year 5 Brits in WSB and that Portimao track looks awesome, they have brought forward next years event so lets hope it ties in with the direct flights from Aberdeen to faro, should be even better next year when its completed
