Endurance Round - 25th / 26th July

Post by coullstar »

Similar format to last year but with a more relaxed Saturday i.e. a few fun races and a BBQ, few beers on Sat night and the 3hr race on Sunday.

Looks like we are going to draw names out of a hat and pair faster riders with slower ones. Maybe teams of 2 or 3 depending on numbers. Im going to use the Aprilla (if it and I survive Manchester next week) however Im going to see if I can borrow a set of wheels and a brake for the 250 so if anyone wants to race they can use that.

Let me know if your interested. I think it will just be the same with one dirt section but dont worry its not to hard. The emphasis is on fun.

Good thing about these bikes is you just pick it up, kick it straight and keep going. Just ask Zax and Mal.

I'm keen but will have to let you know closer to the time.

I've ridden dirt before (with knobblies) & I've ridden on tarmac plenty times before.

However, I've never tried to go from one to the other!! :eek

Put me down as a back bencher as you'd be better off with someone thats done it before (& doesn't have my luck)! :2up

Looks like I cant get a set of wheels. The sat is an open trackday as well now with no dirt.

I would like to let someone use the Aprilla on the Sunday but for your wallets sake more than mine I wont share it after having spent a heap of money on an engine rebuild. You bend you mend it is the rule and believe me these SXV's arent cheap to mend!!!
