yeah it still runs fine, the "c00" stays on then goes back to the temp then it jumps back to "c00" and so forth, That would be good if you could do that, much appreciated

I think the C00 warning is something to do with the Throttle Postion Sensor (TPS). If it's displayed, then it's probably out of range.

If you bridge the connections with the tool (or a paperclip) the display will show where the TPS is aligned to (either top, middle or bottom). It should be in the middle position, i.e. show -C00.

Bottom shows _C00
Middle shows -C00
Top shows ¯C00

The TPS is located at the right hand side on the bike and is adjusted by loosening the Torx screw. I adjusted mine on my GSX-R600 K6 before so if you need a hand, give me a shout.

workshop manual says coo=no fault .a code of c31 would be your gear position sensor.if your gonna circuit test the sensor voltage higher than >0.6v for 3 secs and more.if its not c31 fault code indicated. the sensor coupling is under the tank and the sensor itself sits between the water pump and gear change shaft maybe try taking it of and giving it a clean.doug

Neutral light...I had a similar problem during the winter, the neutral light would come on but dimly when using the clutch in any gear.
After a good cleaning and greasing of the bike and the electrical connections, the light started to work normally again.

So a good cleaning C00’d fix your problem

As for references to pigeons and cows, that is nothing compared to the pigeon brained comments that any thread could receive here on a good day :biggrin2
On a bad day the use of pidgin english is rife :biggrin2 :biggrin2

Thanks guys i will give have another look, I started it this morning before i went to work and it wasnt doing it. But i bet once i start driving it will come back.
And you guys think if it is this sensor thats the problem, that will show the "COO" on the display without me having to bridge the connector? which its doing!

When I mentioned "bridging the connection" you need to locate the dealer terminal (a six prong, white in color plug with a black rubber dust cap) which is under your seat and bridge two of the connectors as shown below with a paperclip or some sort of wire to enter dealer mode.

if you bridge it it should give you a fault code if there,s a prob but taking it of cleaning it or checking the connections is the way to go.doug

Yeah ive no problem with checking the codes etc, but good description. Im getting no error codes at all, just C00. Just wierd how the code display is showing while im its not bridged. Also the throttle position is sitting where it should be. But il clean the parts and see if that cures it. :biggrin2
