Paint Job

Post by Jay »

Hi all, hope you can help.

I currently have a Grey Triumph Street R - but for reasons that can only be classed as vanity, i want a one off paint job.
Gold wheels and and a 2 tone matt black finish on the bodywork. will look great with the gold decals! :2up

anyone know of an outfit that would undertake such work locally/scotland?

thoughts much apprecieted.

Hi

Last December I wanted my new top-box colour matched to my ST1100 (for vanity's sake). The only place that I could find who could colour match was Bike Paints in Cupar, Fife - http://www.bikepaints.co.uk/

They were really friendly, very helpful, gave the impression that they knew what they were doing (I still haven't changed my opnion on that) and were cheaper than anyone else locally - even if they could have matched the colour.

When I needed to put in an insurance claim a few months ago because some kind person had reversed into my bike at Scotch Corner and drove off whilst I was in having a comfort break, the insurance company was going to have the bike resprayed at Bike Paints but as it turned out, they simply paid for new parts.
