Plastech repair resin?

Post by Neorion »

Anyone used this?

I was changing the bulbs the other night and noticed that from being kicked over the fairing lug that the indicator fixes too was broken off. I am lucky as it was a clean break so it just need fixed back on.

Is this stuff strong enough in your opinion or should I be looking at doing something else while the fairing is off? I want to get something done sooner than later so I can get the bike back on the road.

Cheers

If it is the Plastex repair kits you are taking about (do a search on eBay) then I have used the kit before to repair the fairing on my old bike to great effect. It even allows you to "grow" new parts onto the fairings like fixing tabs.

Thats it sorry Plastex!

Cool, its the indicator tab thats broken and as mentioned its a pretty "clean" break to work with.

Great stuff I will get on it.

A low cost alternative is baking soda and superglue.
