Right then, lets talk about lubrication, chain lubrication.

As one has recently swapped out his adventure bikes for pretty bikes, some advice of needed on keeping those bikes pretty and not looking like they have just emerged from a mud pit.

Lets start with chain lube (I can't believe it's not butter!).

Oil, wax, ptfe, dry, wet, white, clear, grease or a bit of spital what do use and why ?

Pros or cons for the selection above, and any I have missed

MOTUL have a great new range available from J&S though not cheap, probably the best I've used over the years. If given 12 hours doesn't fling much, if i'm in a hurry and going to use the bike straight away I go for the WURTH Dry lube (I can't believe it's not butter!) that i'm sure Zathos is referring to.
