Chain n Sprockets

Post by Lynners »

*Fluttering Eyelashes*

Just back in from a wee run to get my bike warmed up. First time I've been on it in 3 weeks and wow it was ace!! Pity my fingers never warmed up but anyhow onto the point of my topic.

Got a set of chain and sprockets, got Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian)'s chain splitter. Need some help!!

I've only ever managed to watch my chain and sprockets being changed before and i really desperately want to get more involved so if anyone is able to accommodate me and my bike for an afternoon at a weekend to help out and tell me how to do it then it would be appreciated. (I have no power in my lock up). Would also need a shot of the other tools that go with the job.

If you can help please let me know.

I have a garage, tools, and time at the weekend. But I have never split a chain on a motorbike (have changed sprockets etc before though).

How hard could it be? ;)
