British Championship comes to Crail 27th & 28th June

Post by coullstar »

Ok folks the biggest event of our calander is happening on 27th & 28th this month. The British Championship is coming up to Crail and after a sucessful, if wet, round last year they are doing a double header so there is racing all day Sat and Sunday.

We will probably be looking for marshalls for both days and I believe there is £50 for doing this for the day.

For more info see here - http://www.britishsupermoto.net/about/

Would be good to see some familiar faces down there cheering on the Scottish contingent.

Are you competing that weekend?

Do you need to provide a marshal, or do it yourself?

I'll see what the crack is but these guys have thier dedicated photographers so they might be a bit arsey. Only really one bit that you could class as safe to stand anyway.
Not sure if its pay to get in either but I should get some passes with my entry (if I get it in on time).

Anyone coming? Would be really good to see some folk down. Its worth it to see the top guys let alone getting a laugh at me.

Looks like they are reversing the track on the Sunday so it should keep it interesting.

Ive entered the SXV and Cup classes which look to be right after each other so I'll be a tad tired on Sat night I think if the bike survives. Only doing one class on Sunday.

I will be there if I can, but I wont know until closer to the day.

It is a great track to be a spectator at, you can see a lot of the action :2up :2up

Where did you get that?

Theres Elite, SXV, Cup, S3 and Junior Lite classes all with three races each so that should be more than 6 unless there planning on combining some. I know they put the junior classes together last year but theyve never combined the Cup and SXV together.

Just checked google to see exactly where the track is situated as I've never been.

The google maps entry is a photo by Mal!

Only just passed STD Andrews so I may scoot down at some point this weekend. . .

Which day would be best to head down?
