Casey is gone

Post by missile »

... but not forgotten. Maybe he is clever getting out rather than risking serious injury, but I will miss seeing him backing it in. :worthy

Fortunately there is always someone ready to step up and next year is looking good. :wife

Have to agree, he was fab to watch.

His replacement looks like he will bring some very interesting races next year. The display by Marc yesterday was absolutely awesome. His aggressive style will not make him many friends in the big league (aka Marco), but the racing should be good to watch.

I feel Gino may well have stayed on the bike had he not been trying to stay with Marc. I hope he gets a ride next year.

Do you think he was as exciting to watch as Doohan? Image :2up

Next year will be very interesting. I think there may be a few contenders for Jorge's title.

They said the crowd was over 60,000 today. Maybe that included ticket sales for those who did not attend? I was surprised to see so many empty seats.

Best Moto Gp rider of the last 5 years.

Marques will become the 4th Alien next year along with Pedrosa, Lorenzo and i would think Rossi now he is back on the Yamaha (if indeed he still has it - find out on Tuesdays test). But i think he will have a few big crashes in his first season, so will need to hope he bounces well.

The Ducati will do fak all, and i would think the best hope for them will be Ianoni on the Pramac bike. It is more works than satellite next year, and it needs someone to ring its neck, which he will. Dovi if far too smooth for that bike.

Cal needs again to up the game, and finish 5th int he chamiopnship next year. Bradley Smith waste of a bike, should have gone to the elder Espargaro or Redding.
