New boy here
Hi all.
Thanks to Derek for pointing me to this forum! I'm a new member and only recently moved here from Englandshire. Norfolk to be accurate. The scenery here is wonderful as are the people. But the one thing I miss so far is biker hang outs. Where I used to live there were a couple of places near by where every evening and weekend during fine weather many bikes would gather to indulge in a coffee and a chat. We had taken over a McDonalds and a couple of roadside cafe's. You could always guarantee to find fellow bikers there and indulge in some banter or just look at some bike porn. Failing that there was a big out of town bike shop with a tea shop outside which was always good. Is there anywhere in Aberdeenshire that's similar? Cafe's, pubs, beaches, tourist spots? Anywhere really that's a magnet for bikers would be a good starting point. Obviously I have no idea where you guys go so any pointers would be gratefully received!
Cheers and hope to meet you out there one day.

Welcome
Have a look at the “events & rideouts†pages, they are open to anyone to propose a run
Some of us even use our bikes when the sun is not shining

Re: New boy here
Welcome to the Site ,
As was mentioned above the rideout section is where you will find most information but it tenst not to be as formal as a hangout (Like there tends to be down south)
There are some great places all over the north east and the roads up here are great fun
If you fancy a run just post up and get something sorted
Keep your eye out for a west coast run or two later in the year , they are a great laugh

Re: New boy here
I heard there was a biker cafe up near Fraserburgh. Opened last year about the same time as the Fraserburgh bike show. Can't remember name or exact location. Maybe someone knows?
