Before you all get too excited, a transport museum’s definition and understanding of “speed” is often slightly different from a bikers definition of what can be called “speed”.

Non the less, previously it has been one of the better events in the north east of Scotland, and many are still laughing that the time a Ferrari got thrown into the straw bales when trying to catch up with a Tesla

PS…the first picture on page www.alfordspeedfest.co.uk is not, I repeat is NOT Alford Aberdeenshire.
You could take all the people residing within twenty miles of the GTM, place them in that grandstand, and there would still be a lot of empty seating.

Thanks for that Dave. We're on a brief dash through the UK and will be staying in Pennan this weekend. We might just make our way down.

I'll hopefully make it along to that. It is usually pretty good and worth a look if you like your cars.

Depending on the timing of a bike run I might pop out.

A lovely warm day at Alford! Quick jaunt round the museum and all the outside attractions. A great collection of motors on display / whizzing round the track! No major thrills or spills when I was there but good fun none the less!

The stunt plane that was flying in the morning was epic though! Amazing what that plane and pilot where capable of doing! Incredible!!
