Hi loons and quines
Expect to be heading back home to the Aberdeen area soon and wanting to find out about the scene in and around Aberdeen - including heading out Deeside.
Clubs? Rideouts? Garages? Shops? Biker friendly stops?

Re: Aberdeen and Deeside scene
Keep looking on this site.
In my opinion the likes of Facebook has had a detrimental effect on the local biking scene and helpful forums.
Too many groups with photos of what people are eating "now", and getting offended.
When told to "faf off", then even more people get
offended.
Generally on bike forums when someone tells me to " faf off" ...i do, on a bike, with mates, often with the person that said "faf off" who probally has a big nose and smells of cheese...no offence, just banter
...but, this forun has seen a bit more chat recently.
Maybe people are getting fed up with non bikers commenting on their FaceBook bike related questions and stuff, when bike related forums focus on....bikes !
Any way, welcome back to Aberdeen

Not there yet, but wanting to be informed and prepared.
Can add in - the rally scene, bike parking, bike theft /security and bikes in bus lanes?

Bus...Aberdeen has lots and lots of bus lanes...and bus gates.
But motorbikes are not allowed to use them.
The annoying this is, I rarely see buses using the bus lanes, especially the 24 hour lanes.
Anyone could think that the bus companies are dishing out Brown envelops to those on the counci that make up the rules

Re: Aberdeen and Deeside scene
Great pity, bikes are allowed in the bus lanes in Edinburgh - but not the gates. Makes a huge difference to the commute
