Endcan, Fazer Thou

Post by Tyke »

I'm after something sounding a wee bit more fruity for my 05 Fazer thou which sounds crap - any recommendations, and will I need dynojetting?

Carbon Can Co for fruityness but i'm sure Mal will be along soon singing the merits of Blueflame. I might be wrong but i reckon your bike is fuel injected, so nowhere to put the jets. Noise wise, Joan's and my SV both have Carbon Can Co cans on(even though she has an Akrapovic sticker on it)so that'll give you an indication.

Mrs Mo has Carbon Can Co end cans on a Cagiva Raptor thou, beautiful and majic, real Thor stuff.
The ally is starting to corrode under the colour coating at the ends though, get SS, carbon or Titty-yum. (Mind you shes only washed it 2-3 times in 2 years so what do you expect)

Ive today put Micron oval carbon race cans :nono on my TL1000S, now its a real bike!

Best cans for sound.......Quill. No competition.
Great on a gixer750 and certainly blew out the cobwebs on a Firestorm.

Was I too close the last time that you couldn't see past your elbows ;)

You could always try following me to see how well it handles....apart from on bumpy roads :???

If you change the cans and have carbs you should probably change the jets or the performance may suffer, worse case (but unlikely) you could dmage the engine by running to weak and thereby too hot.

If you have fuel injection you should have it re-mapped or fit a new chip. Ask the manufacture of the exhaust.
