Datatool alarm fitting?
Presently got a datatool veto evo that goes off whenever it feels. Just picked myself up a 2nd hand datatool system 3 alarm. The fittings inside look very similar but does anyone know if one of the local firms is willing to fit the 2nd hand alarm? Even better if anyone's got experience in fitting these alarms at home?

I'd try Dick Fleming Communications, down by the river Dee in Aberdoom. They're in those railway arches (just back from the Khazakstan consulate & near that BP garage on the roundabout if you've any idea where I'm on about.......They fitted me a cage radio quite reasonably, and I'm sure they fit alarms.

One of the forum members fits alarms for a living (John Barrie). Did one for me and I can recommend. Doesn't come on here often, but here's his profile. Try a PM or even e-mail him.

Try Dave Lerche of DL Services.
He's an auto-electrician to trade and used to work for Dick Flemings.
He installed my DataTool DiGi to my bike and has also fitted a hands free kit to my car.
He's mobile so can do the job at your place of work, home or wherever and his rates are good too!

I have never fitted house alarms :I can't believe it's not butter!Zax wrote:I bumped into John before christmas out in Ellon .
He is currently doing security installations for buildings instead of cars.
I am sure that he would be able to help or point you in the right direction.
He installed an alarm system into one of my previous cars. Top Job
However I do work at http://www.dfcommunications.com
And I agree with Shrek it your insurance does not insist on alarm then the bin is the best place for an alarm
