Heated kit takes the edge off of the cold allowing you to focus on the slippery road. It is nice being back on the road even with the crappy road surface.

I wore my peeked helmet today, AGV AX8-Dual.
Great for keeping the sun out of my eyes

, but due to the visor shape, there is no Pinlock or Fog City “double glazing†available…to it kept misting up.
Popping the visor open a wee bit made things a bit nippy
But still a great ride
I can feel “the long way home†happening tonight…again.

Finally getting some time to bring the bike out of hibernation / winter commuting and getting it back into the sunshine / wild again.
Having spent Saturday doing general maintenance, cleaning the chain, degreasing, washing, polishing and applying a new coat of ACF 50 it soon stripped away most of my day...
Thank buggery I could lose myself in Sunday with out a care in the word.

Don’t you just love...
Dry roads, sunny day
I might be feeling ill later on today and have to head home early…to arrive home later than usual

Your out of office notification was on at 9am this morning. There is leaving early then there is leaving EARLY!

There was no way I was keeping up with the car on me 650 V-Strom especially round the corners.

Car does better on the tight twisties, bikes seemed to be better on the more flowing sections.
And to be fair the roads are still covered on crap

Don't you mean "still covered in cars?"

Similar thing, but at least crap does not hold you up as much
One of the good things about being on a run when someone brings a bath tub is that attracts a lot of attention and keep the old folks and non bikers away from …the bikes
I am sure Zathos got the phone numbers from a few pensioners on Friday, revitalising memories of their youth wishing for a ride in an open top car.

But only one had matching slipper laces
For a car, that orange bathtub goes round the corners well
Similar with overtakes, nice bit of acceleration

Don’t you just love...
Not falling over your bike when you start pushing it to its night-time parking space, only to find the steering lock is engaged

How are those nite light/ torch things working for you?

The "push" happened during daylight hours, outside while getting the bike into the cave.
The light mentioned, yip, it works great, mainly down to the superb position of the socket
A fine recommendation
For those that are wondering what light is being discussed.
It is an iLLUMINATOR LED emergency sensor light, which can be currently purchased at your local Costco shop.
A fine bit of kit, basically a rechargeable torch with a motion sensor, between 20 and 30 second burn time when the sensor is activated.
Override on/off switch for the torch
Induction charging system, makes the torch easy to remove.
Handy when entering or departing a dark location when wearing full bike kit...no need to hunt for a light switch, no need to install a "hard" lighting system.
