What sort of padlock do you need to look cool when locking up your wheel :confused :log :log
I generally use some style of disk lock. Put it right round the front of the disk so that you build up a bit of momentumn before the bike goes down like a ton of bricks with the engine reving its tits off. My wife loves that sound! :biggrin2

If you were approaching them at green already then it is only natural to anticipate that they could change at any moment so you prepare for that eventuality. I guess all those ££'s of lessons haven't really paid off or did you do those out on country roads where you assume the dangers are greater?

Folk seem to get lulled into a false sense of security riding in town as the speeds are lower but there are so many more things to be watching out for and other road users you are exposed to more danger. We really need to be looking out for our selves and not expect other road users to do that for us so don't go putting yourself in danger then blaming someone else.

If you weren't able to stop in time when the vehicle in front hit the anchors then you were riding too close. End of story, regardless of what they were stopping for.

Don't you just hate......

When you've just spent 2 hours putting together the worlds most complicated piece of flatpack furniture, fighting off an Irish setter puppy who thinks you're sitting on the floor to play, and then putting the final side on to complete it, only to have two dogs careering round the living room, and stupid face failing to make the final bend, and doing a pretty good impression of Sonic the hedgehog, right into the thing, reducing it back to it's component parts.
(Without unscrewing the fittings)

That'll be a big tube of wood filler I'm going out for then.....

Very tempting, but thanks for your offer....

Anyway, "Slobberychops" as LALS calls him, (due to his total inability to retain water in his mouth) is too big for the BBQ, and "Pyscho" (Due to the fact that he is, and barks way above his weight) would probably lick and bite you to death at the same time, for even suggesting that.

Not having your ear plugs fitted when you have a pillion crying :cry2 :cry2 :cry2 and shouting, just like little 5 year girls that have had the favourite doll snatched out of there hands by a pit bull and shaken until their head falls off (the doll’s that is).

My hearing will never be the same

Passing a motorcycle parking bay with a car in it, then deciding that you will block that car in, go for a soft drink and wait within sight of your bike hoping that the driver will return and be inconvenienced by being blocked in.

Then the driver not returning during your wait :( :( :(

Still, nice drink in the afternoon sunshine with a friend :2up
and we did try...it is the thought that counts :biggrin2

you must eat a lot of them, going by the compression my bike's rear suspension received the other day :log :log :log

But no shouting and screaming...unless you were stifling it

Just the other day I was thinking that my wildlife count was very low for this year, and this morning at least five at one time

There were heaps that jumped into my path at the same time, at least two got away, but I wasn’t counting, too busy trying not to sh!te my self.

They must have been wee birds, as I was nipping on a bit, but the shoulder and knee hit weren’t painful.
