Oil light staying on

oh , the oil and filter was changed last week.
If the bike is water cooled and the oil is emulsified then I would suspect you have a problem, are you loosing water?

thats not always the case. condensation will do it too

My old bandit used to get that on the site glass. When you changed the oil did it look like there was any contamination present? If not I wouldn't wory too much about it at the moment and get the thing running.

No, now you mention it Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian), there was no condensation before the oil change , im probabaly panicking over nothing , as usual . cheers again guys :2up :-) . p.s. to all those zx6r owners , dont break an indicator to the extent you have to renew it , what a bitch I can't believe it's not butter!. ;)
