My new bike arrived last night with 2 completely squared off Sportecs, a torn passenger seat & a great big scratch on the rear... :(

It was described as being immaculate with new tyres requiring nothing to get it ready for summer so it's time to see what the dealer is saying for themselves.

Not impressed! :angryfire

Yea, but to be fair it was nicely lubricated ;)

It was bone dry at the time ya cheeky barsteward! By that point I'd finally managed to seal the leak with 80 odd kg's of Liquid Metal... It probably would've survived the R&G beating if It'd been clarted in KY!

Spoke to the dealer on Thrusday about the tyre, sent him an email with a picture of it against a straight edge then received a new tyre in the post on Saturday morning. :cool

New (for me) Toy. First big Bike, loving it so far. New Tyres by previous owner and all. I can hear the drive shaft needs its periodic lubricating already and ordered the grease so i should be tackling that before i do any serious riding. All im missing is a torque wrench to put it back together and should probably invest in one soon. Oh to be a poor student and have to decide between paying for rent/beer/tools!

My slightly modified bandit has been a work of blood sweat and much cursing but I'm nearly there!
Gay Blade subframe, R1 plastics, mini moto nose trimmed for fly screen, HRC race reservoir (rear). Wee bit of wiring, painting and a bellypan to fit but close to being roadworthy:)

Lookin good Steve. :cool

Not sure about using checker plate for a zorst bracket though. It isn't really designed to take that type of load and I would be a bit worried about it cracking / snapping after a time .

Bigsteve , your HRC rear reservoir kit will need a bracket to hold the end with the stopper in it to pass a mot , I got told that last year , luckily I already had a bracket on mine so it passed no probs

Lookin good Coddy , looks better in the flesh tho :worthy

If it is that hideous to you .Why even bother making a derogatory comment like that. Not everyone can throw lots of money at there bikes .For me Steve does a grand job with the small amount of cash he has to spend on them .

:2up thanks mate:) been out of work for a while again so aye, doing what I can with what little I have. Agree about the comment, no need to slate it but he did mention that it's each to their own. I like it and have grafted hard to get it this far.
