The Termi's sound gorgeous! Mine need repacked but unlike the neighbors, im enjoying the noise. I bought one without testing first and the six hour ride up from England broke me. If John Wayne and the Hunchback of Notre Damme had a love child, thats what looked like as I waddled up the drive to open the garage. I think three days passed before I could squeeze something without pain in my left forearm, the stiff clutch just wrecked it.
Even if I had tested it and disliked it, i would of still bought it! :log Since been modified for city riding.

On the ride home I lost the passing light and indicators after a soaking. Indicator relay cooked. Few months later after another soaking I had starting problems and lost a cylinder when it did start. New fuses, dried out fuse box and a good dose of silicone sealant applied has cured it.

Seeing as people have been introducing themselves in this thread I thought I would join. Got myself a "new to me" bike. K4 GSX-R 600, just to enjoy on nice days, anyway a picture says a thousand words, so here it is on one of my recent ride outs.

Hopefully meet some new people from here over the coming months.

Yeah but you've done it properly, the K75 was built in the days when they made bulletproof motors.

With so many different bikes on my radar, I thought I would go for arguably the most sensible bike on the planet, so sensible that it is silly, very silly...500 mile range...panniers that look like can take a number of helmets and small people...seat height that most people need a step ladder to reach, TKC80 rubber that looks more at home on a dirt race track...yip, a very sensible bike to bimble to/from work and get the Sunday papers from Tesco’s...Tesco’s in Inverness that is :log

Hi all,

I've only been in Aberdeen for a little while and I was wondering where all the bikers met up etc. and then I found this site and thought I'd say how do.

Bob

It depends who's asking?

If your the inland revenue, the old bill or that girl I met in Ibiza in 95, then no!

To anyone else then yes.

RK

Yes, she is in pretty good nick, theres a few dings and things and could do with a clean at the minute, but I love her.

It's an interesting looking bike the Thundercat - seems to have a good bit more of an upright riding position than the supersports bikes out there - is that a fair assessment? Could do with more bikes like that if that's the case - looks beautiful too!

From what I've been told, I think that would be fair to say. That's probably why it's labelled a sports tourer?

I personally wouldn't know, as it's the only bike I've ever owned or ridden. I've been out for some decent length rides, without any aches and pains at all and I just love the sound of the exhaust when you give it some beans!
