any suspension set up gurus out there? would be good to know about, esp for this bike, as it is apparently bit of a blackart in finding good set up for road use around our roads.

each bike is set up diffrent cos of the riders wight as for set up only you can do that cos its you thats on the bike all the time. best thing to do is go out the next dry day and spend some time setting it up yourself in what you like it to be.

its a bit more complex than what meets the eye, esp with this bike as oppose to others. their are about 300 odds different set ups for this bike I can't believe it's not butter!!!!!
it can work wonders having suspension expert setting bike up for you via rider feedback

What age of YZFR6 is the bike ?
Are you looking for the standard settings or are you looking for the bike to be set up for you ?
Is it for the road or track or both .
?

hi its the 07 model r6r as oppose to the YZFR6 i have a 2000 model YZFR6 which seems spot on for the road suspension wise,
i feel the latest r6r is quite firm at rear (although this newer model is made much more track focused)
just looking to have bike set up for road use only just to make the bike more manageable, to get the best out of set up for realistic roads we use.
many folks just live with standard set ups from the manufacturers, im basically looking for any improvements i can have made.
I can't believe it's not butter!!!!! hope this sheds more light on things???
