Carb, poss valve problem

Post by Tones »

Anyone able to have a shufty at my T/cat? firing intermittently on 3 cylinders, reckon it could be the carbs or a stuck valve, have done the obvious, changed plugs, swaped over HT leads. Seems to enjoy the cold and being pressure washed though, seems to cure it for a couple of days! plug of some kind on the carbs or somthing missing maybe, just not sure what to poke at/remove to find out for sure.

Need to get it fixed, but not too sure where to start on this bike tbh! I can't afford the £50 an hour to put it into garage either.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Could be a coil breaking down, had a similar problem years ago with my old exup. would be fine for ages then slowly got worse.
