Van or car hire...

Get your cheapest price then pm me. I work for a multinational hire company and will sort you out. Don't do tow bars though.

LWB Hi-tops - cost you about 5-10 pence per mile in fuel
Transit/vivaro/traffic - two bikes with ease
Cable ties for brake lever - must have
Old mattress/duvet - peace of mind & less damage if you get it wrong
Loading bike into van on your tod - :nono unless replacing the fairing & levers doesn't bother you don't even try it.
Ratchet straps - decent cheap ones in B&Q [don't overtighten]
Fuel cost - estimate 25p/mile and you won't be far off
Always reduce your excess for the extra £5-£15 day as accidents do & will happen. If your bike gets damaged too you'll have the bikes excess and the hired vehicles excess to pay!
