brake hose fittings

anyone know the fittings for brake hose for zx6r j2?my bro in law going to make some at his work but needs to know what type fittings it is....long shot i know

its more likey to be a NPT fitting, but will be a tapered thread of some sort, Looking throu my workshop manual for you, If I find out will let you know.

had a look myself but never saw anything, looks like the swaged on ferrull has an eyelet on it so a bolt goes thro to the calliper, also would need to find out what fitting it is from the cylinder

In my opinion your prob best leavin that kinda stuff to the pros . I dont fancy the idea of home made brake lines one bit ! As for NPT threads on brake lines , Ive never seen a brake line wi those threads on them .
My advice would be jus go an buy a brake line kit that is specifically designed for your bike .
In the event of an accident if u were to tell your insurance company u had home mate brake lines on your bike they would prob laugh at u

You will find most Brake pipe fittings are specials - JIC fittings,Some have convexed seats ,some have concaved seats and they can go to UNF or NPT .Goodridge do sell kits to make you own but you would be better buying them pre made as they have been tested and certified to withstand the pressure 
The Banjo fittings are side Extended Banjos and are usually 3/8" UNF ,Most brake calipers on Kawa's are 10mm with a 1mm pitch

In my opinion buyin a brake line kit specially designed for your bike is the simplist way to go about things . Your idea of gettin someone to make u bits sounds like too much hassle tbh . Ive worked in machine shops for 22yrs an i wouldnt even attempt to make anythin like that purely cos o the safety aspect . Jus order a pre made kit dude

A kit will contain everything you need for the front or back.

I don't know much about it, but 2 line kits are cheaper, with less fittings so, less for me to feck up, just a matter of the routing.Within these pages you may find the S, F or O layouts available for some bikes which means we are able to offer different layouts for your particular bike. They offer the same performance but different layout options - mostly this is a matter of personal choice but it is worth remembering that if you are planning on using your bike on an ACU track day regulations state that any aftermarket kit must be full length (they will NOT allow an over the mudguard kit on the track). For example :
Honda CBR600 F1 Sport 01-07
S : (3F/1R) Three Front Lines As Standard / Single Rear
F : (2F/1R) Two Full Length Front (Both run from Master Cylinder) / Single Rear
O : (2F/1R) Two Front (One Over Fender / Mudguard) / Single Rear

if i could find a complete set with everything for front and back this would help, being that i dont have a loving clue what i'm looking for it gets confusing, stainless braided ats bout all i'm sure of

I dont think you can get a complete set all Ive ever seen are front or rear sets. Could be wrong.
Better leaving it to someone that knows what they are talking about. I just like googling
