Can anybody lend me a sparkplug wrench?
For a CBR600RR 2008, didn't get one with the toolkit and only noticed today so will be next week until I can get that sorted out.

I'd really like to get what I'm doing finished this weekend so if somebody doesn't mind me borrowing one for a few hours I'd appreciate it.

you can easy have a shottie of the one I have - though I have only used it for the car, dunno if you need a special size etc for the bike. It's got a fair reach anyway. Gie's a shout if you want, location Balmedie.

You'll be surprised just how few tools bikes come with in their tool kits these days. :(

Check first to see if your bike should have one in the tool kit before you go demanding one though.

Yeah I know, can't believe I didn't notice before but not needed it up to now.
And I did look through the toolkit when I got the bike!! d'oh.

It defo says in the manual it should be there so away to phone up for one. No biggie really, if i never noticed it wasn't there can't moan at someone else for the same thing!

Errr.....no idea where the tool kit is on my rr. It's definately not under the seat though :log

To be fair bike tool kits aren't realy for servicing. They are more for roadside repairs and a quick fix to get you home.

I wouldn't trust those tools unless there was no other option.

You mean things can actually fit under the seat!! :log :log

Yeah I know what you mean, the first time I adjusted the chain I tried to use the ring spanner in the kit....
Even with the 'extension bar' there was no chance!

Now I got a new socket from Halfords to use with my big torque wrench, which luckily goes up to 113Nm, even though its a 110Nm tool. Saves me buying a third torque wrench.

when i bought my 05 R1 i got a Meta alarm fitted an it sits where the bikes tool kit should sit

most tools in a bikes tool kit are crap tbh , i only use the spark plug wrench (ive got 2 heehee) the ring spanner for the rear wheel spindle nut , the extention bar an the screw driver .

have u got an alarm on your bike ? were u handed your tool kit when u picked up your bike ?

if u phone Honda they should give u the tool no probs
