Think I may have found the problem...

Post by BIGSTEVE »

My bike hasn't been starting well lately and in the last couple of days didn't want to start at all. I may have found the problem, what do you think?

I've only had the bike a couple of months so don't really know it's hlstory. I can see by the state of these that it's been some time since they were replaced.

meep.. put one in there for you to keep you happy ;)

If that is the state of the plugs i would seriously consider also doing a oil change and air filter check etc

Yup you might be on to something there :log

Still it would have been simpler to check the 2 outside plugs first though ;)

You're not wrong there! I forgot what you said to me on friday until i phoned you after i'd taken the tank off. I thought i'd sorted the leaking tank problem by tilting it forward. It hadn't leaked in about 2 hours so i went to bed. Got up this morning and it was clear it hadn't worked :eek Out came the sawdust for mopping up my mess :angryfire

Why oh why?

Those plugs look fine mate, give them a quick clean with some Mr Sparkle and a feather duster and they will be good for another 100,000 miles. :log
