Farquhar dominates at Cookstown 100

RYAN FARQUHAR was in flying form on his Q8Oils lubricated Kawasakis at the Cookstown 100, winning the Open, Feature and Supertwins events.
Held at the 2.1 mile Orritor circuit in County Tyrone, the annual Cookstown 100 is the opening of the road racing calendar in Ireland.

Farquhar scored a thrilling win in the Open race, beating Conor Cummins on the McAdoo Kawasaki into second with Keith Amor on the Wilson Craig Honda in third.

Farquhar also took victory in the feature Superbike race after Keith Amor crashed out on the penultimate lap. Farquhar's winning streak continued in the Supertwins event, finishing first on his Kawasaki 650 ahead of Suzuki-mounted riders Richard McCarrtney and Lee Hill.

The Irish road racing scene next meet is at the Tandragee 100 road races, which take place on Saturday May 2nd.
