Shire Petrol shops...

As I can often get close to running out of fuel, I like to know where there is hope of finding a garage open.
Fell free to post and add your local petrol shops opening hours.

To kick off this informative if not a little dull thread...


Summary of 24hour card garages:

Aboyne
Alford, Shell, 24 hour card machine located near the front door but can authorise any of the pumps.

ie, don’t blame me if you are stuck out in the boonies with no petrol, looking at a closed garage and fearing that the local people living near the local shop will hunt you down to boil up your bones for soup stock

you all feel free to add your out-of-town local petrol shop...which is open also to "non local" people

Tesco in Inverurie 24 hours

Morriosons in Inverurie

Ello Tesco take cards when closed so open 24hr
Asda Peterhead takes cards so open 24 hr
these are not really in the boonies although some folk from the city think they are

Theres one at Ballater, and there may be one at Morrison's in Banchory but don't think theres one at Aboyne.

I have not used it yet.

There is one card reader for all the pumps, I have use it a few times, no problems but it is a bit of a faf compared with pumps that have their own card reader

Tesco in Banchory is 24 hour fuel pay at pump

Aboyne garage also has a 24hr card reader

I have updated the first post of this thread with a summary of petrol shops with 24 hour card machines.

Any more to add to this list, especially out in the sticks ?
