bandit shock

stupid question time.... :???
will a new style bandit 1200 shock fit the old style bandit?
(it looks the same in photos)

not 100% sure about this one mate.

I would phone bandit mania to double check, I had a quick look on their site and there is no mention of different shocks for different years.

I don't know about the 1200 but the swingarm on the 600 is slightly different between the two versions so I have a hunch that it may be the same for the 1200. If you look at the aftermarket shocks the pre and post 2001 bandit part numbers tend to be different.

tis ok i found a new ish 1200 shock on the wallet lightener that is ebay..... :boing
i'll be fitting at the weekend hopefully (but no test drive, its orrible outside) :eek

my 98 1200n is a truly fantastic toy!!! i dont care if its old technology its still ace...
i just sorted the suspension, and fitted a smaller front sprocket, the beast is back :2up
