I got my 30 year old bike back from them last Friday and it is much much better. Decent price and great service. Didn't try and farce anything on me even though there are millions more things that could be fixed on it.

I went in past on Saturday. Very friendly with a clear plan on what service they want to provide bikers with round here. Nice selection of bikes, well presented in a nice shop. Easy access with good parking too.

and the Ferryhill Tavern across the road seals it for me :2up

Albamotos seems to have changed to Morrison's Motorcycle Engineering this week. What's happened to the guys who were running it. The Polish mechanic is still there.

Msg from Jim,
"I am not with Albamoto anymore".
That's all, no explanation. Guess it all ended badly ?? Shame. :(

Possibly Aberdeen and surrounding areas not big enough for more than the big 2 if this have not ended well at Alba.

NEW M/C SERVICE CENTRE FOR ABERDEEN...??

Post by Speighty »

Jim and ex business partner have parted ways, the other guy will run alba now under the name Morrice.

Not Jim's choice, and I for one am very sad to see him go, I think it's a bad move and that guy will lose a lot of business over it. My OH's when I told him, first reaction was - well I'm nae going there again then......

Dean Morrice has been the director of the company since April 2012 (Jim was the previous director for about a month before that). As the shop seems to be re-branding under Deans name I would imagine that one the dust has settled then it will be business as usual.

And once the dust has settled I need to get my finger out and get my Monster booked in for its cam belt service! :eek
