Went into J&S store today - coming along - still some of the old Hein Gericke stock there, but fair bit of new stuff too. Ended up spending a small fortune - but did manage to walk away without buying a helmet I liked, so I'm taking the moral high ground.

It's nae bad so far. Certainly an improvement in my opinion. I was there last Sat with the Mrs and ended up kitting her out. The range of kit available has definitely improved.

My experience of them is that they sell a massive range from cheap and cheerful right through to expensive, I used to get a lot of my gear from them in Kimberley Nottinghamshire.

Hmmm - might be a mixture of old & new, not sure. Didn't recognise a couple folks, but I didn't frequent the old store a huge amount. I was happy with the service I got when I was in there though - the two folks that served me were really helpful.

They look the same to me. Was in past the other day. Looking a bit fuller than usaul. May work out well.

The same lassie is still there, but she seems to have some new minions.

Was in by myself this weekend... shocked to see so much stock on the shelves again!!

Everything I specifically asked for... I got... a big change from recent H&G days!

Attentive and knowledgeable staff... I hope they continue as they have started
