Thinking of just heading off on the bike and doing a bit of touring / camping when I get back to the UK, only have a massive tent for use in the car just now, anyone got any recommendations for a decent tent to fit on the back of the bike :confused

I have a Coleman 2 man tent. Can't remember the name of it but it's small pack size and is big enough for you and your kit.

Vango Omega 350. Technically a 3 man tent but you'll need it for your bike gear, packs down small and has alloy poles. Cost about £ 160 and can be pitched in about 15 minutes :2up

I take a Mastercard. Fits nicely in my wallet. :arse

If you really want to camp you could always take some lipstick as well. :P

Go for the Vaude Taurus 3P, very easy and quick to put up, full protection no matter how bad the weather is and it packs down very small. On the plus side it's a 3 man tent so there is plenty room for all your gear and it's 230 cm inside, very few tents this long, so that means if your 6 foot or more when in your sleeping bag you will not be touching the tent sheet so you will stay dry :2up

Nothing worse than touching cloth when stuck in a sleeping bag.
