Got a Bandit 1250 for a loan bike whilst mines assessed by insurance. After a few years now of being satisfied with the beamer I suddenly understand that sport bike thing. Decent brakes, rapid acceleration, nimbleness. Not sure ill want to go back to being on the tank....

As I remember it left an R1 behind over the Lecht
But yes certainly no sports bike, though its no slouch on power and they handle pretty well.

What he said. Did the Kelso run at the BMF rally in just over 12 parsecs-About 4 hours in our time. Much up on the performance compared to the tank.
I do miss the mild manners though, the bandit feels wasted with my mild riding style. 70 odd MPH and barely doing 3.5krpm. Its 'confidence inspiring' for sure.

Must. Not. Laugh.
Bandits are ace though, my first 'big' bike was a 1996 Bandit 600. Loved that thing!
