Sorry you all, but I feel the need to share my last night’s activity and thoughts with you.

If you are easily offended, please do not continue reading this post.

Last night when cutting the lawn grass the experience felt like it should have been the end of autumn :???

The grass had not been cut for ages, yet it had not grown that much and what had grown did not have the “body” and density that I expect at the end on July.
When cutting the soccer pitch and pathways, I only used about half the fuel on the tractor as normal.

Later on when dusk was kicking in, there was a damp cool feeling in the atmosphere.

In all, just not right for the end of July heading into our warmest month :??? :???

"Soccer" .... Have a feckin word with yourself!

On the grass cutting front, took 3 cutting heights to get mine down to minimum level this morning, well lush and well grown.

It's miles quicker cutting it every week rather than it being left for 2 1/2 weeks without a cut.
