Engine warning light, Fault code 069, MT-09 Tracer
I believe that Fault code 069 may happen when the front and rear wheels are spinning (or not) at different rates...ie when the bike is on the centre stand but the engine is running and in gear when lubing the chain.
To clear this fault code, i rode the bike for about 100 metres.
I dont know why Yamaha do not publish the fault codes, this could save owners a lot of fafing.
I had arranged for the bike to be seen by the dealer to resolve the  engine warning, but with a bit of internet searching the solution was so simple

Why would you even think about doing that?
