Went for a walk into Tullos wood the other day and noticed that the paths were full off tyre marks. Soon a few bikes appeared in view and after giving a nod dissipated into the distance.
This got me thinking about getting a small off road bike and do some off road riding, but I've always thought this is a no no

in Scotland?

Your right. The only way to ride off road anywhere in Scotland is with the land owner's permission. Not sure where Tullos woods actually are but I can bet you my last dollar (or euro) the guys you met were there illegally. This is part of the reason why the last BAMCC fun day we organised attracted 109 riders.

Are you considering taking the FJR with the TKC80's?

Tullos Woods is in Torry, behind the recycling centre where they plan to build the incinerator.
When is the next fun day?

Depends as ever on what ground is available to us. I'll keep you posted though. And if anyone knows of a suitable piece of land that we could use please get in touch
