What source(s) do you use to find out the roads and/or areas that are being targeted by the traffic cops?
My Dad told me that they appear on a certain day in the P&J. Is this a regular weekly posting
If so, that would be very handy.

What day(s)?
I have Google searched without any good hits. Does Police Scotland publish them?
Thanks.

Thanks, they are handy sites.
I know most of the fixed cameras but the mobile sites are useful. I've never seen the camera van at Gordon Barracks.

Generally i would say its best not to exceed the posted limit in populated built up areas with the limit below the national speed limit.
Plod in traffic cars really don't like this.
In saying this, plod also dont like it when they have to chase you over a number of miles on roads posted with the national speed limit.

I am careful to get my speed right down going through towns and villages. The speed will typically change from 60 mph to 30 mph. Some have even got a 20 zone
I agree about lengthy chases but I have not had issues with parked up traffic cars on country A-roads, or the sneekier unmarked cars

Ride on quiet roads with little traffic. The dibbles won't hang around there as there's not enough cash to earn.
One of the good bits about living in Scotland.
