my zx6 has started to really smell of raw petrol these days.
the tank range seems to have gone down VERY slightly but it's a worrying odour when you come to the first set of lights after a 30 mile stretch of 70mph with the engine heat......

any ideas?

the carbs got balanced just over a year ago and there's no leakages....

Take the tank and fairing uppers off and blow down the feed pipe, see if there is any raw fuel dripping from any of the carbs or little fiddly pipes that feed them. It could also be a stuck float needle / valve in one of the carb float chambers.
