When it says “3/4 turn out from fully seated positionâ€￾ and the adjuster just spins and doesn’t thread in or out (adjuster sits flush weather fully clockwise or anticlockwise)

Is the fully seated position fully soft or fully hard?

Which adjuster are you screwing around with??

Regardless of which one it is though there should be a limit to how far you can turn it. If it just spins then something aint connected properly :eek

It doesn’t just keep spinning! I mean it doesn’t thread in and out like the rest do. Rear compression btw

Compression and rebound adjusters should only rotate and not move in/out or up/down depending on where they are located.

Normally fullt clockwise is the setting at maximum and fully clockwise at minimum. By the sounds of it the "cheat sheet" you have means turn the adjuster fully hard then back off 3/4 of a turn.

Personally, I'd get the sag settings set up properly and leave them then nail the rebound then lastly the compression. By the way if the suspension is of any quality then even an eighth of a turn can have a noticable affect to don't make too much of a change at the one time or you may find that it feels like a totally different bike.

The front rebound says 1 ¾ out from fully seated position. Which is obviously from fully hard as you can see the adjuster wind in. so it’s being wound out 1 ¾ from fully hard.

The front compression says ¾ out from fully seated position. Which is obviously from fully hard as you can see the adjuster wind in. so it too is wound out from the reference of fully hard.

The rear rebound says 9 clicks out from fully seated, which you can see the adjuster wind in so I take fully seated to be fully soft here.

It’s the compression I don’t get as it say ¾ out from fully seated but the adjuster only spins back and forth, so is fully seated here mean fully soft or like the front and fully hard?

The thing about suspension settings is that that are individual and no too people come up with the same settings when they are let loose on a bike.

Screw it fully clockwise and then back it off 3/4 of a turn. That should do it.

That’s what I thought to start with but the rear rebound is left hand thread and fully clockwise is fully out. :???

I still think fully clockwise is fully seated. General convention. Possibly the design of the rear is such that it needs to come out to be fully seated.

Try it. If it's wrong you go the other way. Just don't blame me if you bounce off the seat.

I believe you are right there
:up

Checked the service manual for the 04 ZX6R and the ZX10 and fully clockwise seems to be the convention for fully seated.
