I have a Suzi TL1000S, bought with a SELCA MT-8 alarm/immobiliser fitted.
Been OK up to now.
After a run, left in the drive with alarm/immob on , went out to move into the garage and the immobiliser wont switch off, no go.
Tried spare remote, no go.

Any helpful suggestions?
Tried internet but cant get a manufacturer website.

Have you tried disconnecting then reconnecting one of the terminals of the battery to se it that resets the system?

Im leaving that until a last resort - Im concerned that the damn thing will then go off and I will have no way of switching it off. Also IF I do get it working I will then maybe have to reprogram the unit to the sensors/remotes. From the manual this looks a laboriously slow procedure using an Ignition - On/off sequence.

Ill let you know in the next 30 mins if Im deaf or not!

Is the battery in the fob working , I know you said you tried the spare too but as both batteries were probably put in at the same time they may both be dead even though one has hardly been used , batteries go dead after a while even if they are not used.

Disconnected battery +ve, reconnected battery +ve.

Switched on, still immobilised but the alarm system LED is now off.

Trying a car alarm forum for assistance.

Im going shopping for a coupleof new batteries for the fob now.
Cant do any harm trying.
Be nice to have a simple solution that doesnt involve having to use a car!

Im on holiday from today - beautiful weather - bike immobilised - I feel a sledgehammer job coming on!

Sorted - sledghammer surgery works!

Removed the alarm completely then beat it to death with a 2lb lump hammer - serves it right for losing me 2 sunny summer days riding!

Dont buy this alarm!

I guess you told your insurers that bike has an alarm/imobiliser. Remember to tell them the alarm has been removed, or you may have a problem if you need to make a claim.
