I have got a Scottoiler touring kit but don't know whether to fit to my ZZR1100 or not?

I have seen some bikes with them fitted but there seems to be quite a bit of oil flung onto the rear wheel. Being a bit of a cleaning tart when it comes to my bike I don't want to have to wipe oil off the wheel every time I ride the bike.

Has anyone got a Scottoiler fitted who could give me some advice please?

Cheers

Hi dude,

I had one (well more than one actually) and was very pleased with it. Quite easy to fit, but they are a bit of a fiddle to get the flow just right. Now I just lube (I can't believe it's not butter!) the chain when I remember, which seems to work OK too :roll

IMHO, if you are the forgetful type or intend doing long journeys a Scotoiler is definitely the way to go!

Thanks missile, will see how I feel when the new chain and sprockets are on, might just stay with the chain lube (I can't believe it's not butter!) method though.
