Having problems , very small though

Replaced my snapped gear selector last night for the new shiney one, however i bend the cir clip when trying to put it all back together.

I will need to pop to Ecosse now for a new Cir Clip.

Question.

How do I get the cir clip back on without bending it out of shape

Does it have holes in the end of the circlip? If so there are circlip pliers which open it up without wrecking it.

i`ve got a pair just like the top ones. I`m in ABZ tomorrow, if ye want a shottie drop me a PM.

thanks, went out and bought a pair thinking that was my troubles over.... it was for the cir clip.....now read my new thread "alternator cover replacement"
