Suzuki Choke

Does anyone know how to increase the friction on the choke adjuster on a Suzuki (Bandit 600). Mine just doesn't want to stay on and I have to end up holding it on while the engine warms up.

Makes it a right bugger to start up as well cause I have to pull the clutch in whike at the same time push the choke lever on with my thumb!

Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian), is it not a brand new bike? If it is I would be straight round to Shirlaws to get is sorted.

Failing that, get an elastic band, loop it over, around under the bars and back arond the lever...the friction on the band should be enough to hold it, whilst letting u adjust it as the bike warms.
