I have a spare set of carbs which i was taken a part and having a look at to refurbish and noticed that one of the pilot jets is mangled in the carb.. whats the best way to get it out from where its screwed in.. i have tried to uncrew it but its stiff plus theres not much if any of the brass screw head in the first place and nothing to get a hold off as its down like tube which is part of the carb...

Top Tips
Be really careful drilling the jet as you might damage the carb body. Also, be very gentle once the extractor is in place especially with the small diameter ones as they will easily snap leaving the original bit and a very tough chunk of metal which then needs a diamond drill and loads of patience...

try and get the esi oots with the 4 or 5 sharp edges rather the type above, they are quicker to grip and less chance of damaging it
