Looking for some info for masking up reasonably large areas for painting. Obviously newspaper is a no/no.

Does anybody know what would be ok? Paintshops seem to use a brown paper.

Never had any problems using news papers or news print while spraying large cars as long as all edges are sealed, I suppose it depends on the area to be masked off.

Ive used it in the past but always has little areas where the paint has gotten through. I suppose a couple of layers should do the trick.

What about getting clean lines? I heard there is some blue masking tape that dosent let the paint bleed through like the standard biege stuff.

From what I can gather it is more water resistant and its less sticky so won't do any damage when removed from your car/bike, and apparantley all the top detailing guys wouldnt use anything else.
