For all those struggling to clean their wheels, to remove chain grease (wax) the best cleaner by far is GT85 (orange and black tin). Spray on and simply wipe of with piece of kitchen roll.
No more working alloy wheel cleaner in with a brush. I have been using it for years, and brings up a bonny shine.
About 3 quid a tin from Halfords, or free if you ken somebody who works at Baker Oil Tools :I can't believe it's not butter!

No, far better. I have tried WD40, all the alloy wheel cleaning brands and they take a bit of effort to remove chain grease. This stuff is just spray on and wipe off with a kitchen towel.jbrebel wrote:Is that the same as WD-40? I use that to clean my wheels and brings them up nicely but can attract dust etc when stored.
Baker Oil Tools use it for cleaning there tools when servicing them, hense i know it good stuff.
