Hi all, I have just set up a motorcycle tuning business based in Aberdeen.

the google search does not work yet, it will take a few more weeks or so, just type striaght into the webaddress bar, or hit the link above.
I offer fork revalve/re-sprung, race shocks, rearsets, exhausts, brake conversions....
ISR brake range (calipers, discs, master cyliners..)
Brembo brake range
Harris performance parts

Akrapovic exhausts,
NRC/Woodcraft engine casings
I will match the cheapest internet price for all parts.
Cheap rates. Pick up drop off from Aberdeen, free for large jobs, £30 return for smaller jobs.
Currently I dont have a business shop, I'm working from my fully kitted double garage, I shall get a shop in the future if the business takes off.

SPEEDMACHINE - NEW Motorcycle Tuning business in Aberdeen
Hi I'm based on Hilton Street, between the 5 ways roundabout and Clifton Rd.
Currently I'm working out of my kitted out double garage. If the business takes off then I'll jack in my day job and run the business full time.

YZFR6 suspension set up
Hello,
your YZFR6 is blessed with a decent quality rear shock, where as many new sports bikes are not so luck.
Your forks would need a little bit of fetling as I believe that the YZFR6 requires more dampning, its forks are a bit pogo stickish.
How much do you weigh with your kit on?
Currently I have some experience in setting up suspension.
Given your weight, I would set up your front and rear sag, and your compression so that your forks dont bottom out, however this is difficult considering the weather. I would test drive the bike on a rough and smooth road and adjust your dampning to suit.
This January I am planning to be trained up by K-tech on fitting their cartidge kits, re-valving and servicing as well as advanced set up.
You can only achieve so much with suspension set up. To really notice a difference I would advice tailoring your front/rear suspension to you by adjusting spring rates and oil to suit.
Contact me via sales@speedmachine.co.uk or call 07737411587 if you are interested and I'll work out a fully inclusive price based on your requirements.
regards

Re: SPEEDMACHINE - NEW Motorcycle Tuning business in Aberdeen
I want my MT01 suspension set up (when it eventually arrives
)
It's got this years R1 front end (08) have no idea what the back shock is, but it's the back shock on the last one that caused me problems, was _Waaaaay_ too stiff on compression damping until it had done 6k miles.
what's it likely to cost to 'fix' the rear shock?

Re: SPEEDMACHINE - NEW Motorcycle Tuning business in Aberdeen
I've just bought an 06 Tuono that has an even snatchier throttle at low revs than my SP1 used to have.
The previous owner fitted twin spout bluefalme cans but I dont think he bothered with
getting the fueling sorted. Might give you a bell about getting a pissy fitted.
Good luck with the venture
