Front Sprocket
Mate from Weege has just called asking for help, he's trying to take his front sprocket off. He's taken the bolts off and is wandering why it's not coming off easily. I said i'd post up on here for him and call him back. Can anyone help?
Will it just be a bit chooch?

Chooch
Yep try a spray of WD40 then prize off with screwdriver or small bar of some sort ,Make sure the tab washer has been removed first (and remember to replace it )

Re: Front Sprocket
Just spoke to him again and - It's no fer budgin n aw that but.
It's a CBR125, he's taken off 2 bolts and a plate, covered it in WD 40 and buckled a hammer trying to take it off. He has the Haynes but it doesn't help, it doesn't tell him how to take it off.
Any more help appreciated.

Re: Front Sprocket
Sounds like it should come off after removing the plate. Maybe he should try heating the sprocket a little.

Re: Front Sprocket
Bit late now probably but, on the 125 there's 2 bolts either side of the sprocket, take those off. Twist the locking plate till it lines up with the grooves, remove carefully, then ease off the sprocket. Jobs a good un
